Now , luckily my baby is only entering kindergarten this year so his only concern with clothing is having light up shoes . I mean , who DOESN ’ T want light up shoes !? I also didn ’ t go to conventional college , so I personally didn ’ t get to experience the pressure of finding yourself and learning to be on your own .
I started college at the age of 21 , was already living on my own , had a full time job and had found my own style . I went to evening classes and most of my classmates were older . However , I do work with a lot of girls that are in school or leaving me this fall to start school .
Plus , a huge customer base for us are college students , so we try to help them find the best mix and match pieces to get the most bang for their buck .
I am going to show you three different basic pieces every college student ( or anyone for that matter ) should have in their closet . These are pieces you can wear a multitude of ways to get the most
out of your money . You may have to make an initial investment , but it
will be worth it in the end .
I took each of these clothing items and made three different outfits out of them . I love doing this with my customers and in my own closet . The items we ’ re going to talk about today are a chambray shirt , graphic tee and a dress .

A chambray shirt is basically a denim shirt .
I know , I know , you ’ re gonna say “ What !? Are we back in the 90 ’ s ?” Well , actually , a little . 90 ’ s fashion is coming back and coming back strong . The chambray shirt is such an amazing piece of clothing these days . I love it . It comes in different washes , but the medium wash I featured is super popular .
* So , my first look is buttoned up and tucked into a flowy skirt . Such a classic and simple look . Because of the lighter blue color , you could do so many different colors and patterns for a skirt . With a pair of flats , this look is great for a full day of classes and then meeting a friend for coffee . Classy and casual .
* Next up is something simple . Just some black dress pants with a colored cami tucked in and the chambray shirt left open . You could also tie the shirt up or even button it up and add a blazer or jacket . Black dress pants and a colored cami and also two staples every girl should have in her closet . You could take this outfit from class to dinner with some friends .
* Lastly I tied the chambray shirt over the top of a flowy , soft dress . This is by far my favorite thing to do . I do so many things with dresses . This is great for a weekend spent studying at the library or a lunch date .
I don ’ t know why I don ’ t own one of these shirts yet . I think I just
convinced myself to get one .
Next up , everyone ’ s favorite , the graphic tee shirt .

Ohhh so many things to pick from . We sell through our graphic tee ’ s like hot cakes . Why ? Because there are so many different ways to wear this . So , I picked one of my favorite ones and made a dressy casual , dressy and casual outfit with it . I had to narrow it down because I have soooo many ideas for this look .
* My dressy casual look I paired the graphic tee with some super soft , hot pink dress pants , gray military inspired jacket and some booties . Can I just say how much I love this outfit . I want to wear it every day ! Ok so that might
get weird around day 4 but still .
