Integration of the
Old and New
Increasing rate
of net migration
The function of this proposal is
a co-living residency between
the older generation and the
increased number of migrants who
are arriving in the country. The
proposed programmes include
both permanent accommodation
for elderly as well as temporary
shelter for incoming migrants
alongside hotel units and
additional commercial amenities
that are open to both the public
and residents. This proposal looks
to influence a change in the current
social issues of the area by helping
to accommodate those who are in
desperate need of help.

Social Deprivation
02
By creating a integration for those
newly arrive population through the
help of the older generation, it helps
both usergroups to reconnect with
society and resolve their issue of
alienation as some older generation
can still be a significant and
important member of society.
The proposal will offer job
opportunities and accommodation
and seek to reconnect the
‘abandoned and alienated’ citizens
to the society by offering a source
of contribution that may benefit
the society or economy as well as
themselves.
