Nexus Drawing inspiration from Ole Scheeren’s Collaborative Cloud, the bold use of a void in the façade expresses the inclusive and welcoming nature of the proposed facility, creating an open spatial identity. The generous atrium that forms an informal public zone takes inspiration from OMA Architects’ Axel Springer Campus in Berlin, creating a space which is broadcast visually to other areas of the building. The layered landscaped exterior opens up the building’s basement to a bold adoption of underground spaces, flooded with natural light; a feature that is unique to the area and underlines its claim to being a landmark development. 01 03 02 [01] Progamme diagram of functions within the site [02] Proposed elevations of site [03] North side access to site [Opposite] Visuals of proposed design
