Mental Health and
Wellbeing Centre
In my dissertation, I wrote about
social attitudes to asylums and their
reflection on architectural design.
The primary programme is the
clinic, consisting of consultant,
therapy and meeting rooms. This
also includes open office space
for the employees. The second
programme is key-worker housing
units to support the local hospital.
Add-on programmes include roof-
top gardens for private users and
public gardens.

My scheme consists of providing
a clinic while supporting MIND
and other mental health associa-
tions within the Borough of Tower
Hamlets. This will also include
key-worker housing that will fund
the facility.
