Regrow
Regrow is located in Burgess Park
where it aims to protect, promote
and enhance the London park.
Re-using and growing the existing
nursery into a primary school,
secondary school and foster care
home will improve the lives of the
local children and create a safe
haven for those who do not have
a home. The design reflects on
the children and how they grow,
as if the structure has bloomed
from the soil itself, creating a
comfortable environment for
all ages. The existing nursery’s
philosophy revolves around the
‘Reggio Emilia Approach’ which
encourages the self-guided
and self-directed curriculum
for all children where they are
reconnected to the outside and
learning through experiences of
touching, moving, listening,
and observing.
