Health Care Facility
Mental healthcare is an
increasing problem in my
borough and I wanted to address
this through my design proposal.
The building will have facilities
and therapeutic spaces for users
who need mental health support
and treatment including:
Professional advice
Group therapy sessions
Overnight stays
The centre will also be
accessible to users with
demanding jobs suffering from
stress and anxiety and growing
symptoms of everyday stresses
which are increasing. The ground
floor includes a social space
which will also house an interior
landscaped atrium. I will be
designing an extension that will
be used as a social and talking
space that will lead directly to
the atrium area.

My design can offer work
experience and apprentices for
students studying in the field
of healthcare where they will
have the opportunity to work
directly with patients and learn
professional skills.
