Piece of Paradise
The inner ring consists of
supporting walls that branch
outwards through the central
points and separating walls of the
apartments, ultimately supporting
each floor at a time with concrete
slabs in the middle to strengthen
the structure.
The ground floor provides gym
space which is open to the
occupants of the building and
people from the community,
this is a place which the young
adults can repay the advice and
guidance of the retired tenants by
helping them get healthy and use
the full facilities of the building
Majority of the occupants
are retired elderly who have
exchanged their house for a more
exciting and lively atmosphere
of the building and closer to the
society, to connect and give back
to the community they take part
in the meeting rooms on the
ground floor to help advice young
adults on their future paths and
help them with applying for jobs.
Young adults can seek guidance
from the community for any
question they might have, they
can also take part time jobs at
the restaurant at the peak of the
building.
