The historical context of West India Dock road involved many services with trades dated back in the 1800’s, the project seeks to bring back the essence of how West India Dock road were and create a home for the Westferry DLR but most importantly create a hotspot for the surrounding users of both the areas and the DLR. The building will provide the users with food stalls and an underground Market in hopes that the enhanced public realm of commercial uses will allow income flow to local residents and new jobs.
