COURTYARDS
A series of courtyards punch through the roof
and facade bringing in daylight, air, and outdoor spaces into the hermetic warehouse. The
courtyards become the only precence of colour
in the serenity of white and concrete.
PATIOS
The patios offer quiete spaces to interact with
nature and also gives an opportunity for parents
to keep an eye on children while they social or
conduct meets within the cafe or office areas.
The final result is he unlikely hybrid of generic
industrial modernism and traditional
arabian architecture. It is the first step in recognising and practising shape and design to act for
more than a structure in fullfilling both natural
ventilation and passive solar heating through the
built design.
