COURTYARDS The volume is cut open by three courtyards which are filled with lush, green vegetation. The facades around each courtyard are fully glazed. Also the central courtayrd is above floor level which accomplishes a 360 degree view of the city. EXHIBITION Concrete floors and white painted steel create a neutral backdrop for artworks within. The site is also underground as this accomplishes two major problems within the UAE, it keeps the building cool and away from the scorching heat and also offers privacy for its all female target audience. 192
