Based in Shoreditch, Hotel Elixir
provides a Hotel for the upper
class whilst providing a stepping
ladder for the homeless offering a
second chance to feel limitless.
By providing work, living an d6
month limitless plan to encourage
the user to move on in the future
with skills and opportunities.
While catering for the
homelessness, the rich &
everyone can enjoy the
luxuries of the Market, Italian
styled kitchen on level 8 which
transforms into a salsa dance
floor at night & luxury styled
rooms.
The flowing timber structure
forms a canopy for the market
area with a ETFE tensile netting
becoming a water harvesting
system to run the entire building.
The Organic facade shape
inspired by a simple Pine-cone
allow plenty of light & allows
greenery to be grown in-between
the aluminium framing all over
forming a certain pattern to allow
light, air flow, acoustics.
