know it has to be going good for you. Lunden De’Leon: Absolutely.  UG Digital Mag: True Fiction will hit when? Lunden De’Leon: It will be out in September, but I don’t have the exact date yet.  UG Digital Mag: I’ll surely be looking out for it. You’ve done a lot behind the scenes. Will you do any of that with True Fiction? Lunden De’Leon: I’m just in front of the camera with True Fiction. I do a lot of independent films. Where I’m from, there’s not much going on as far as the industry goes. There’s stuff going on in Atlanta, but I drive about 4 miles to get to it. I decided to set up a production company in South Carolina to give someone else an opportunity to get on camera, so they don’t have to hitchhike to L.A., or if they can’t get to Atlanta, they have an opportunity here. It’s a way to give back.  UG Digital Mag: Now that you’ve done all sides and facets of the industry, what do you enjoy the most? Lunden De’Leon: I love taking a movie from script to screen.  UG Digital Mag: That has to be a huge and tedious process, especially with casting, and getting the right people involved.  Lunden De’Leon: That’s why it’s good to have a good team, and someone to do the casting, scouting, and producing. Having a good producer, and assistant; It’s great to have a good team. Of course, at first you sit and discuss the script, and what you want to do. It’s a big process, but with the right people, it is definitely do-able.  UG Digital Mag: A good team, and people to delegate to is definitely key. What other projects are coming? Lunden De’Leon: There’s a movie called Turnt, and we filmed it in Atlanta. I play the role of Harriet. Also in the movie is Jamal Woolard, who played The Notorious B.I.G., and he’s also in the new Tupac movie. A few people from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, and a few other locals. With that, I play Jamal’s mother. She’s a young mom who lost her youngest to the streets. Jamal is into music and he’s also into drugs, and she is trying to turn his life around. It’s a coming of age movie, and it’s very powerful. That should be out soon.  exponentially. What final thoughts do you have? Lunden De’Leon: I’d like to say that for anyone trying to pursue anything, whether it’s acting, or starting a business, just surround yourself with people who believe in you and your passion, and never give up. + UG Digital Mag: This shows how big Atlanta is. It’s really the new Hollywood.  Lunden De’Leon: You know what? Funny enough, there are more movies and television shows being done in Atlanta than Hollywood. Last year, there were like 300 productions. Atlanta is the place.  UG Digital Mag: It’s really amazing. Where can everyone find you online? Lunden De’Leon: My Twitter account is @2Lunden, Facebook is Lunden Deleon, and also everyone can find me at  Lundendeleon.com UG Digital Mag: Again, I thank you so much. This talk was amazing, and people are recognizing your talent. Things are growing ugdigital.com
