Choclair: Yeah. It was all for the passion for me. You obviously want to make a living. Everybody had 2-million dollar videos. I wanted to be comfortable, but I did it all for the passion. That’s what drove me, and continues to drive me. So many people take me back and tell me the things I did. I appreciate that. It’s cool that people notice it all.

U.G. Digital Mag: What’s happening now musically with you and CVSS? He’s so dope….

Choclair: I’m working with CVSS behind the scenes. I’m helping him find his way. With myself, I have my new record coming. It’s called “C.Evolution”. I’m also working with other artists. I’m doing more behind the scenes. People have been coming up asking for more music. I think it was Scarface who said “every time I try to go away, they pull me back in”. I just went back in. Who knows. It’ll be like Choc is back. This is what we’ve been missing. This is what we like.

U.G. Digital Mag: I think music has changed so much. Fans want more wisdom and substance. They want those who have the dopest product. I try to connect with many artists of today, but I’m more connected with the music of the past.

Choclair: Right. People say Jay-Z is old school, but he just had two sold out shows here. That shows you that everybody has love for what they came up on. That’s proof right there. 40,000 people in two days. Back in the day, you knew songs from start to finish. I can tell you “Redman’s “The What” from start to finish. People don’t know that these days. It was food for your soul. People want that.

U.G. Digital Mag: How can everyone keep up with you?

Choclair: Through my instagram, it’s @choclairofficial. Youtube. Facebook. I definitely respond back to people. I talk to everyone, and it’s cool. They can reach out to me.

U.G. Digital Mag: Any final comments?

Choclair: Just check for me. I have new music coming. Can’t wait to see everybody again. Be nice to each other.
