U.G. Digital Mag: Going back a little to your artists, what’s on the agenda for 2018?

Durell Peart: For me personally, it’s a lot of great things. I’m co-authoring a book to come out sometime next year. My entertainment attorney offered me a chance to be a part of a book she’s writing. It’s so time consuming to write an entire book yourself. She’s coming from a legal perspective, telling her story, but she reached out to 6 or 7 people to assist. I think it’s incredible. We all only have to write a chapter. You actually have the unedited version of the chapter. I want to become a motivational speaker, and this will help to build my profile. I tell why I got into this business, the ups and downs, and I really go into detail. I think it will touch a lot of people. It will come out sometime next year. I’m also the festival coordinator for the Maricopa Music Fest in Maricopa, Arizona, and I didn’t see that coming from a mile away. The creator, Crystal Allen O’John, and I initially reached out because I wanted my artists to perform. She asked me to come onto her team for the event. There’s a lot happening in 2018. I hope to do more of these interviews, and be an inspiration. The work with my artists will never stop. I’m elevating myself and building my business around myself. There’s also a documentary being done on me, and I moderated my first industry panel here in Orlando this past November. The doors are really opening for me. The money will come. I don’t chase it, it’s just going to come.

U.G. Digital Mag: I think it’s incredible all that you’ve done. That’s where the success is; being able to maneuver and get yourself out there. The festival will really open more doors for you, and it’s inspiring for so many people.

Durell Peart: The success comes in the journey. Embrace the struggle and journey. That’s when the real success comes. If you can’t go through the struggle, you don’t deserve the success. We’ve all experienced struggle. Bad Boy started in the basement. That didn’t stop him from believing, and now he is a mogul. He knew that with his vision, great things would happen. Everybody starts somewhere. You can’t get to the top without embracing the struggle. If it happens quickly, it probably won’t last very long. Do you want quick success, or longevity?

U.G. Digital Mag: I appreciate this so much bro. How can people stay in touch with you?

Durell Peart: Definitely. My website is NNManagementGroup.com, and also my direct cellphone is 1-407-326-2352. Send me a text. I do respond. My social media online is @NNManagementGroupLLC. Twitter is @NNManagement. On Facebook, I’m Durell Peart. I’m down to help people and make a difference. You can make a career in this business if you do the work. That’s what I want to share and inspire you with today.
