Taking with us the lessons of 2016 we should have confidence to know we were ready for all we faced . We can go further . With the changes around us remember those before us only imagined our progress . The exit of our president is not to breed fear but to show how far we have come . When Martin Luther King shared his dream ... it was just that . Who would have imagined how much of it would come true . Hello ! Our president was black ! Don ’ t rob yourself of that joy due to the current presidential choice . Once you do ... you have discounted the most powerful form of encouragement into a mere moment in time . Though we still face adversity today ; stand in pride & ownership to your power to create change . That is who we are . We are fighters , conquerors of change and progress . I am proud of every single black owned business that continues into this year of 2017 . I am proud of every supporter ! We are faith in action ! Bless us all to apply every lesson of 2016 . Remember every unexpected glory is a jewel on our crowns . Let all of last year ’ s experience propel you into battle for your dreams . Ready ... set ... Go !
