Professional recognition
To become a member of the Australian
Psychological Society, and for registration as
a psychologist in New South Wales, Australia,
you must first complete an approved four-year
degree in psychology followed by an accredited
postgraduate course in psychology such as one
of the Master of Psychology degrees (Clinical,
Forensic) offered at UNSW. An alternative to
postgraduate study is two years of supervised
experience in professional practice.
