15 . Students wishing to take Actuarial Studies must complete Mathematics Science in the UNSW Foundation Studies program .

18 . A very high grade in Mathematics OR Science is necessary to cope with the Mathematics courses required in the Advanced Mathematics program .

19 . Medical Examination : Students will need to obtain an Aviation Reference Number ( ARN ) from the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority and undertake an Australian Class 1 Medical Examination . Students can either do this either before or after enrolling in their UNSW degree program .
