Homestay (all ages)
Homestay is a good option if you want to immerse yourself
in local culture by living with Australians. We work closely
with homestay agencies, and monitor feedback as part of
our Care Program. You will share meals and living space
with your host, and weekly fees include utilities and at least
two meals per day. A host could be an individual, a couple,
or a family with children.
There are several UNSW Global approved
providers, which can be found on our website:

Private rental
accommodation (18+ only)
If you think that you want to rent accommodation in the
private rental market, think about what type of housing you
want to live in, how many people you want to live with and
how much you want to pay each week. When you know
what you are looking for, you can start looking for places.

Living in UNSW
Accommodation (18+ only)
Living on campus can be a wonderful experience which
offers you numerous opportunities for engagement in campus
life. UNSW Colleges combine campus life with academic
mentoring, and you can choose from fully-catered, partly-
catered or self-catered options. UNSW Apartments (located
both on and off campus) are designed for more independent
living and some may be suitable for families with children.
