UNSW has an active
and vibrant student life.
Student Life
Your Study
We have two conveniently located campuses in
Kensington & Randwick, which are both within
the UNSW campus precinct.
All students have access to our tailored learning
including libraries, computer labs and the
Learning Support Unit (LSU), where you can
improve your academic and English language
skills. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, so you will
have access to classroom and communication
technologies wherever you are on campus.
To support your study, UNSW Global also offers
program-specific consultations and workshops
with teachers, and also facilitates Conversation
Clubs where you can practice your English.
UNSW Global focuses on ‘blended learning’,
a combination of face-to-face teaching with
online support. You are required to bring your
own device (e.g. a notebook or tablet), to connect
with the UNSW Global learning community,
participate in classroom activities and access
online resources 24/7.
Life outside the classroom
UNSW has an active and vibrant student life.
As a UNSW student you can join ARC, the UNSW
student association on campus. ARC Clubs &
Societies are a great way to become part of the
university community, make friends from both
Australia and overseas and have fun outside the
classroom. UNSW Global also offers activities and
events specifically for UNSW Global students,
with highlights including tours of Sydney when
you arrive, student outings to Sydney attractions,
student barbeques (BBQs), sporting events,
cultural events and a student talent night.

Your Orientation
An airport pickup service is available and our
staff can arrange this service for you once you
have accepted your course offer. If you choose to
access this service, a driver will meet you at the
airport and drive you straight to your destination.
Please refer to page 54 for information about the
cost of this service.
Your first day at UNSW Global is your orientation,
where you meet your teachers and classmates,
get all the information you need about your course,
tour the UNSW campus with other students, and
get your student card and timetable.
A Sydney Basics Tour and social events are
also offered during orientation to help you make
friends, have fun and get to know Sydney.
