Credit and recognition Starting your university degree In Australia Towards the end of your UNSW Foundation Studies program, we arrange a UNSW Faculty Information Day with seminars so you can learn more about your university options. These events are your opportunity to speak directly with UNSW faculty representatives and UNSW students. UNSW Foundation Studies qualifications are recognised by Group of Eight (Go8) coalition of leading Australian universities. Students can choose up to six university preferences. Our student advisers and teachers are also available to discuss your university degree preferences. • The University of Adelaide Once the final UNSW Foundation Studies results are released they are forwarded to UNSW Admissions who issue offers to international students. • Monash University Go8 universities are: • UNSW Sydney (The University of New South Wales) • The Australian National University • The University of Melbourne • The University of Queensland • The University of Sydney • The University of Western Australia Undergraduate entry UNSW Foundation Studies has programs for university entry into Semester 1 (March) and also mid-year entry into Semester 2 (July). Main university entry is Semester 1, though many university programs also offer entry in Semester 2. (See the list of programs on pages 50 – 53). Programs offered for mid-year Semester 2 (July) entry are shown with a + symbol. Most other Australian universities also recognise UNSW Foundation Studies qualifications. Internationally UNSW Foundation Studies qualifications are also recognised by many universities in the following countries as meeting, or partially meeting, their entry requirements to undergraduate programs: Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States of America. Note: Many universities will only consider applications on a case-by-case basis, and there may be additional requirements, quotas or specific subject requirements for certain programs.
