DIY SMOOTHIE BOWLS I Hannah Lathen f you’ve spent more than 10 minutes on social media this year, you have probably came across colorful, Instagram worthy smoothie bowls. Smoothie bowls are a thicker version of smoothies that you eat in a bowl with a spoon. They are a delicious way to sneak more fruits and veggies into your diet and are super simple to make. In contrast to smoothies, smoothie bowls require frozen fruit and less liquid to give it a thicker, ice cream like consistency. You start out with your favorite fruits and veggies and then add a liquid like almond or coconut milk. You can also add protein powder or peanut butter to make it extra filling.
