DIY SMOOTHIE
BOWLS

f you’ve spent more than 10 minutes on social media this year, you
have probably came across colorful, Instagram worthy smoothie bowls.
Smoothie bowls are a thicker version of smoothies that you eat in a bowl
with a spoon. They are a delicious way to sneak more fruits and veggies into your diet and are super simple to make. In contrast to smoothies,
smoothie bowls require frozen fruit and less liquid to give it a thicker, ice
cream like consistency. You start out with your favorite fruits and veggies
and then add a liquid like almond or coconut milk. You can also add protein powder or peanut butter to make it extra filling. The options for ingredients are absolutely endless. To give you some ideas from where to start,
here are some yummy recipes to try out! We want to see your smoothie
bowl creations! Share you pictures with us on Instagram or Twitter @UnmatchedMag!
