Technology and systems are tools and changing them isn't difficult. However technology alone will not deliver business improvements and outcomes; people do. It's people, through their behaviour and attitude, who can make that new technology hum and the business benefits be realised. People respond differently to change. Acknowledge that, understand it and balance it against the business needs. Use the new technology as a way to show what tomorrow's business as usual will be like and model the behaviours needed for its success. People want to know why something's happening and what it means to them. So, start with the why and go forward from there.

Define responsibilities, expect ownership and hold people to account;
