advice there. But the main thing is to be unique. There are only seven plots, so you have to really stand out to get attention. Plus, learn all the rules – grammar and spelling do count. Did I mention read? Read, read, read. Get a sense for how the people you admire do it. Go to conferences and let them teach you. And read. 12. What are your other hobbies besides writing addictive thrillers for us readers? I am an avid golfer, love to travel, really dig great red wine, play with my kittens, and I read voraciously. 13. How would you describe your experience with working with the Metro Nashville Police Department and the FBI? They were absolutely amazing. I did eight ride-alongs over the years, talked to profilers, did autopsies – they wanted to make sure I got it right, and that was a huge help for me, making the books as realistic as possible. I have so much respect for our law enforcement officers. They have a hard gig. 14. Where can readers find your novels to buy?
