The Day of Caring

At United Way of Trinidad and Tobago, we dream
of ‘people helping people’ because it feels right to
Give, Share, and Contribute. We hope the National
Day of Caring serves as a spring board for individuals
and companies to feel inspired to continue to help
throughout the year.
Through our collective effort, we will see a significant
ripple of engagement, neighbor to neighbour - a clear
demonstration that people of Trinidad and Tobago
take care of our own.

This year, National Day of Caring comprised
63 projects done by 158 companies with more than
3,500 volunteers on the ground.
We celebrate the effort taken by each team, each
volunteer to find a way to ease and make life better for
those communities in need of a little extra support. At
every turn, volunteers expressed how humbled they
feel to receive the most heartwarming of all responses
- a SMILE.
