Bring Back Barter
Baskets of freshly-grown fruits and vegetables (purchased
from school gardens and small-scale farmers) were
distributed to approximately 100 less-fortunate families
within the Mayaro/Guaguayare community. They also
received starter packs containing plant pots and vegetable
seeds and were encouraged to share or barter some of their
produce with friends and neighbours every time their crops
reach maturity.
