The Rockets however came out swinging winning Game 5 in Houston in a 124-103 blowout win and with star guard James Harden suffering from the flu putting up a triple-double with 26 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists, along with center Dwight Howard adding in a double with 20 points and 15 rebounds. It’s on to game 6 in Los Angeles at the Clip joint with the Clippers trying to take that next step as franchise by making it to their first Conference final in franchise history. Stay tuned as this series has the ability to go the distance. The Eastern conference semi-finals have the number one seeded Atlanta Hawks going up against the a gritty Washington Wizards team and with the series tied at 2-2 as the start of the series saw the Wizards go into Hotlanta and steal game one and home court advantage from the Hawks but in the process lost star point guard John Wall to a broken hand and he would miss the next three games in the series. Atlanta won game two with excellent team ball, the Wizards would win game 3 on a last second shot by forward Paul Pierce to go up 2-1 but Atlanta came back to win in game 4, 106-101 tying the series at 2-2. This series is a contrast of styles with the star driven Wizards who have John Wall going in game 5 versus the Hawks and their brand of team ball and game 5 is a was a tight contest going down to the wire with the Hawks winning on a last second layup by Al Horford to take a 3-2 series and narrowly defeating the Wizards putting the Hawks franchise one game away from the franchise’s first ever trip to conference finals. In the Cavs vs. Bulls the series is 3-2 Cleveland and the series has been filled with last second, late game drama with the Bulls stealing game one and the Cavs winning game 2 as the scene switched to the Windy city and Bulls star guard Derrick Rose hit a game winning three pointer at the buzzer to go up in the series 2-1 and when the teams reconvened on Sunday it was the Cavs turn to hit the buzzer beater as Lebron James scratched the play called by head coach David Blatt which would have had the best player in the game inbounding the ball for someone else to attempt to make a game winner, but luckily for Cavs fans Lebron believes in himself and hit a game winning jumper with no time left on the clock to return the favor to the Bulls tying the series at 2-2. The Cavs then went back to Cleveland and won another nail bitter, taking game 5, 106-101 and the series lead at 3-2 with game 6 tomorrow night in Chicago with a spot in the conference on the line. These NBA playoffs are really getting interesting so stay tuned. For Underground Vision Magazine, this is ya boy DJ Smock, IF YA SMELLLLLAAAAA WHAT DA SMOCK IS COOKIN! Peace.
