order to win the games but it backfired and has left Houston in desperation mode fighting for their playoff lives!rounder for 2017 along with a million dollar fine. I’m lost because when the franchise is cleared yet they are having draft picks taken away and a hefty fine then the validity of Mr. Wells report has to be questioned. Naturally at some point tomorrow, May 14th, 2015, Brady will file an appeal which will be heard by an independent arbitrator will determine if Brady’s suspension would eventually be reduced or if it will stand. One thing is for sure, it’s apparent that Commissioner Goodell does not mind his players being accused of child abuse and beating up on women in public places just make sure that you don’t under inflate a football by less than a half pound or he will throw the book at you! Stay tuned to Smackdown Sports for updates with this ongoing saga. Meanwhile the NBA playoffs are in the Conference semi-finals and have been drama filled and exciting to watch. When we left off the April edition of Underground Vision Magazine the playoffs had not gotten underway, but just to give you all a recap of the first round series matchups and outcomes: Western Conf. 1st round series (1) Golden State vs. (8) New Orleans: Golden State won the series 4-0 and had a dramatic 20 point come from behind win in Game 3 of that series which all but sealed the Pelicans fate and thus lead to a sweep. (2) Houston vs. (7) Dallas: the Rockets laid the smacketh down on Dallas destroying the Mavericks on five games and thoroughly embarrassing Nowitzski and company and making their point guard and major trade acquisition quit and be benched for the remainder of the series after game 2. (3) Los Angeles Clippers vs. (6) San Antonio Spurs. This was the series that went seven games and was a dog fight to the finish with the upstart Clippers taking out the defending Champion Spurs on a last second shot in Game 7 by all world point guard Chris Paul. The (4) Portland Trailblazers vs. (5) Memphis Grizzlies saw the Grizzlies hit the Blazers dynamic duo of LaMarcus Aldredge and Damien Lillard over the head with tough defense and efficient offense ran the Blazers out of the playoffs in five games 4-1. In the East the (1) Atlanta Hawks vs. (8) Brooklyn Nets went six games with the Hawks scratching out a series win in six games 4-2 as the Hawks proved their brand of basketball is playoff ready. (2) Cleveland Cavaliers vs. (7) Boston Celtics. The Cavs throttled the Celtics sweeping them put of the playoffs but the injury sustained to power forward Kevin Love of a dislocated shoulder will likely have him missing the rest of the playoffs in addition to the loss of shooting guard J.R. Smith who was suspended for the first 2 games of the conference semi-finals for backhanding forward Jae Crowder in what turned out to be a physical contest but one that the Cavs would eventually win taking the series 4-0. The (3) Chicago Bulls vs. (6) Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls started out in the series 3-0 and then proceeded to underestimate the Bucks as Milwaukee won games 4 and 5 to make the series competitive before losing in game six by the largest margin in playoff history 124-66. The (4) Toronto Raptors vs (5) Washington Wizards, this series was a clean sweep by the Wizards with their leader point guard John Wall who starred and saw to it that the young Raptors team had now chance of competing in the series by making his teammates look better than usual including Paul Pierce who has discovered the fountain of youth in this year’s playoffs making timely shots. The conference semi-finals in the West have pitted the run and gun style of the Golden State Warriors vs. the Memphis Grizzlies and bully ball as I refer to it and this series has not disappointed. It’s tied at 2-2 and both teams have forced their style of ball in each of their two wins. With the Warriors it’s been up tempo and high octane offense. With the Grizzlies, it’s been rough tough half court, pick and roll on offense and tough, hard-nosed defense and with their leader point guard Mike Conley playing thru a facial fracture and giving great effort on both ends of the floor, this series is going have a dramatic ending and with game 5 tonight at the time of this article in the Bay Area I like the Warriors to get this game and win the series in 7 games. In the other Western Conference semi-final the Clippers have roared out to a 3-2 series lead dominating 3 0f the first four games of the series, winning games 3 and 4 by 25 points each time, even with the Rockets playing hack-a-Jordan fouling Clippers center DeAndre Jordan an sending him and his 41% free throw shooting to the line in hopes of using his poor shooting from the line as an added weapon in
