Based out of Oakland Ca Dreamers Rule Clothing is a Brand born from the depths of an overactive imagination. Their team is driven by the passion of blending creative, timeless fashion with unique styles, purpose and originality. “Operate outside the box” is a phase they often use to drive the launch our their ideas of fashion into reality. The Dreamers Rule clothing line asks us to reflect; as children, we spent a lot of time daydreaming of all the infinite possibilities an ordinary day could bring. We dreamed of achieving, and conquering all that our minds could think of. Do you remember digging a hole in the back yard and honestly believing in your heart that you would end up in China? Do you remember the time where an ordinary stick would become a telescope, or a sword? Or How about when a broom stick a few chairs and a couple of blankets would become a tent, cave, or castle?!!! These are the questions Dreamers Rule muse upon when working new designs.
Collaborating with Dreamers Rule laid the foundation to working with Oakland designers, way back in 2012, with UGRW’s Fall show “The Collection: For the Town” at Mills College. Since then, both UGRW and Dreamers Rule have been quite busy supporting growth within the respective companies. Relationships are to be nurtured, and thus UGRW and Dreamers Rule collaborations now include our Summer fashion show “Hardcopy” hosted at Warehouse 416. Designs from Dreamers Rule reflect and represent Bold, Creative, ambitious individuals who never settles for mediocrity, who believes that anything is possible and greatness is the only option!

Artist Shelly Harper finds herself influenced by the constant influx of street art in the Bay Area, 1970's and 80's fashion, industrial hardware, and ancient metal works from around the world. Each HARP piece is made by hand with much care and intent, from materials and objects of high quality, cultural significance, and historical intrigue. You can easily spot Harp Designs Harp Designs on the UGRW fan page, her unique pieces work well on both men and women, and were a great addition to our editorial collaborations. HARP designs was featured in UGRW most recent show “Hardcopy” at Oakland art Gallery Warehouse 416; her pieces fit the show’s concept perfectly. One of the best parts of HARP jewelry is the hand forged quality, where tool marks are highlighted and showcased making each piece of HARP unique from the next.
