Early Fall Start (EFS) Move-in
Print out and complete the Vehicle Information Placard prior
to coming to campus at your designated Move-in time. You
must have this placard filled out prior to being released to
your building from the queue lot.
ARRIVING IN A PRIVATE VEHICLE
Please plan to arrive during the check-in appointment time
indicated in your assignment email. If you are unable to
arrive at your appointment time, you may check in after 3:30
pm on Sunday, August 21, 2016 (Housing staff will not be
available to help you move in after 3:30 pm) Please allow two
to three hours to move in.
DIRECTIONS TO LANDER HALL AND TERRY HALL
From I-5, take the NE 45th Street exit and proceed east on
NE 45th Street for several blocks. After a few blocks, please
move to the left lane. Take a right onto 15th Avenue NE and
proceed straight for several more blocks. Turn right at NE
Pacific Street and proceed one block to turn right onto University Way NE. Proceed approximately one-half block and
turn left into the W-12 parking lot. You will then be directed
to your building by staff as space allows.
FROM SEA-TAC AIRPORT
• Take I-5 north
• Take Exit 169 toward NE 45th Street and turn right on NE
45th Street*
• Turn right on Roosevelt Way NE
• After a few blocks, turn left onto NE Campus Parkway (if
you drive across the University Bridge, you’ve gone too far)
• Immediately merge right and park in the taxi/shuttle drop
off zone on the north side of the building, which will be
marked by several signs
*If using the I-5 northbound express lanes, take Exit 169 toward NE
42nd Street, then continue by turning right on Roosevelt Way NE,
then left onto NE Campus Parkway.
Please make sure that you park in these zones so we can
efficiently and effectively assist your passenger.
PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE BUS STOP ZONES OR TRUCK LOAD
ZONES.
Early Arrival housing for EFS may be arranged through the
HFS Conference Services office.
If you are checking in after 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 21,
please go to your residence hall front desk to sign for your
keys.
ARRIVING IN A TAXI OR SHUTTLE
There is a specific location for taxis and shuttles to drop off
passengers at Lander Hall. Please provide the following directions to your driver.
Please note these instructions because alternative routes may
not allow you to drop off your passenger in the correct location.
