Cranfield University Technology Park is a unique business location, offering
flexible, serviced office space to small and growing firms, as well as conference
accommodation and business support. Neighbouring Milton Keynes, and with direct
links across Bedfordshire and the wider region, the Tech Park is a thriving innovation
habitat with outstanding services and facilities supported by the world-renowned
research capabilities of Cranfield University.
AN INNOVATION HABITAT
The Tech Park is home to over 60
businesses, ranging from start-up
companies through to internationally-
recognised brands such as Nissan
European Technical Centre. Placed in
the heart of a thriving economic region,
at the crossroads between Oxford,
Cambridge, London, and Birmingham,
it offers excellent road links and 410 free
car parking spaces, boasts easy access to
the rail network, and is complemented
uniquely by its own executive airport.
OFFICE SPACE
The Cranfield Innovation Centre (CIC) is
tailored specifically to the needs of small
and growing businesses, offering serviced
offices on flexible leases from 280 sq ft
to 1,780 sq ft, high-speed broadband
connection, meeting rooms, conference
facilities, and administrative support.
In addition, the CIC offers Hot Desk
Pods for those wishing to work there for
a day, week, or month as well as Virtual
Office space, which is ideal for individuals,
businesses and organisations worldwide
seeking to establish a prestigious and
professional presence without the need
for taking physical office space.
Current tenants range from start-up
firms through to established automotive,
design, and business consultancies.
TRENT HOUSE and DERWENT HOUSE
These are multi-occupation buildings,
providing prestigious serviced office suites
for established businesses from 2,000 sq ft
to 20,000 sq ft. Both buildings include
Cranfield success stories that have
successfully moved from start-up space
in the CIC, including iDirect in Derwent
House, and Kinetic in Trent House.
MEDWAY COURT and CONWAY HOUSE
These buildings provide headquarters for
a number of major UK and global firms,
including food freshness consultancy It’s
Fresh!, training specialist Cognisco, and
Specialist Microwave Solutions, which
designs, manufactures, and repairs
microwave components for the defence
and aerospace industry.
MEE TINGS and CONFERENCING
The Tech Park’s high-quality meeting
rooms and conference facilities are
available to hire for all businesses across
Milton Keynes, Bedford, and the wider
region. The CIC includes two conference
rooms, both able to seat up to 70 people
for a seminar-style event, or suitable for
board meetings and networking events.
Two meeting rooms are also available for
smaller groups, each able to seat up to 12
people. All rooms have wireless internet
connections and audio visual equipment.
