Willmott Dixon is a leading national
constructor of research and development
facilities for science parks, supporting
clients in creating better environments in
which people and research can thrive.
By assisting our clients in unlocking value
through funding and partnerships, and by
using innovative construction techniques,
we have been successfully creating
research facilities from leading-edge new
build private research and office buildings,
to sensitively planning university science
parks on already-occupied campuses.
Coll abor ative rel ationships
Collaboration is important to us in
our mission to support and develop
innovative, high-growth, knowledge-
based companies. We look for
opportunities to share this knowledge
and innovation. The science team are
proactive individuals who look to share
information on best practice and build
mutually beneficial trusted relationships.
Each project is approached with our
clients’ goals at the forefront, to reduce
risk and ensure that the research facility
supports the needs of the researchers
from day one. To create the highly
technical buildings that sustain and
build the UK’s world-class research
environment, we work closely together
with scientists and the project team.
We engage at the earliest possible
opportunity to strengthen relationships
and ensure we have clear understanding
of the project requirements.
Positive engagement
Through our range of Scape frameworks,
which provide a suite of OJEU-compliant
options, we enable our clients to have
a highly-skilled team rapidly in place,
with the expertise and knowledge to
take project responsibility from strategic
asset appraisal through to project and
service delivery.
We engage and create a positive
impact on the communities we serve. We
invest locally, engaging, supporting, and
educating both the scientific and the UK
communities that these scientific and
technological advances support.
We create value for clients,
stakeholders, and communities by taking
a leadership role in the built environment,
working in a sustainable and responsible
way, and by making a positive impact in
S e c tor s
the lives of people in the UK. Working
with the University of Leicester, our recent
work with The Centre for Medicine
demonstrates our commitment in creating
the UK’s largest Passivhaus scheme.
