The Clinical Innovation Zone provides
an unrivalled opportunity for tenant
companies to engage with world-leading
research within a flexible, state-of-the-art
clinical environment.
Fle xible Space
The CIZ has been designed with
collaboration at its heart. The innovative
working environment, at the interface
of academia and the NHS, provides an
opportunity for industry to secure lab,
office or hot desking space. Available
space consists of 22,000 sq ft of high
specification managed units in a
modern and secure environment. Units
can be easily and rapidly configured to
accommodate office or laboratory
operations, up to category 2. Single or
multiple desks are also available in our
Touchdown Space – a creative working
environment designed to initiate and
facilitate collaboration.
Managing the CIZ
Managed by the University of Glasgow, the
Clinical Innovation Zone is one of three
innovation-focused facilities funded by
Glasgow City Region City Deal (GCRCD),
and benefits from strong links to the other
pioneering facilities (with access to a
broad range of business support).
The facility seeks companies across
the broad spectrum of precision medicine,
imaging, and diagnostics who wish to
collaborate with academic and NHS
