Rur al Innovation Centre
The Rural Innovation Centre (RIC) is
a serviced office scheme designed to
house and support start-up and small
businesses. It offers 35 offices, suitable for
1-10 people, plus two conference rooms
which can seat up to 18 people around a
boardroom table or 30 in theatre style,
with projector or large digital screen,
whiteboard and flipchart, and conference
calling facilities. These can be rented for
a half day or full day at competitive rates.
Tea and coffee are provided and lunch
can be arranged, at an additional cost.
Hot desks can be arranged for people
who need a desk just for a day, week or
month at a time, and the business address
can be used to provide a professional
point of contact for your business for
a small monthly fee.
Phase 3 of the Rural Innovation Centre
is due to open in September. This will
offer slightly larger offices as grow-on
space for businesses that are expanding.

The future
The vision for Stoneleigh Park builds
on the site’s distinguished agricultural
heritage and is set out in a fully-funded,
15-year development programme. The
consented masterplan allows for an
increase in space that could accommodate
1,500 new jobs and includes the
construction of new offices and research
facilities of superior quality, new and
improved highway connections, an
extension to the existing hotel, and a new
larger café, restaurant and farm shop.
In addition, a programme of
refurbishments is revitalising the existing
stock of buildings on-site, which includes
further incubator units for small and
medium enterprises. To date over 20
tenants have taken advantage of the
refurbishment programme to obtain
space that meets their business needs. ■
