204 England | Full Member Queen Mary BioEnterprises Innovation Centre The Queen Mary BioEnterprises Innovation Centre (QMB), based in London E1, is a modern early- and late-stage incubator for science and technology companies and is the culmination of a four-year project between Queen Mary and the GLA. QMB is a wholly-owned company of Queen Mary University of London and was developed to promote London as a world-class bioscience cluster – and to attract and retain the best scientific talent and intellectual property driven science firms in the capital. The Centre is a 52,000 sq ft capacity building and is centrally located on the research campus of Bart‘s and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Whitechapel. Accommodation is available in suite sizes that vary from 600 sq ft upwards. The flexibility of the centre’s floor plan means that space can be easily reconfigured to meet a tenant’s needs. Basic features include sealed floor coverings in the laboratories, sinks, carpeted floors in offices, and large ceiling voids to accommodate a tenant’s bespoke air-handling needs, e.g. fume hood ducting. The Centre also facilitates access to Queen Mary Innovation (QMI), which promotes enterprise and innovation across Queen Mary.
