It’s that time of year again as dart fans from around the World
prepare for their annual pilgrimage to Muswell Hill for the PDC World
Championships at Ally Pally or to Frimley Green for the Lakeside World
Darts Championships.
With this in mind we wanted to bring you something a bit special for
this month’s magazine. We have a great preview written by Jamie
Shaw looking at 10 things to expect at Ally Pally and also a detailed
look at the first round clash between the Huybrechts brothers written
by myself with contributions from our readers via social media.
There is a full preview of Lakeside, giving viewers and fans who have
never seen the BDO’s flagship tournament a taste of what to expect
and who to look out for in January and also a look back at one of the
classic darts matches of all time; the 2007 PDC World Championship
final between Raymond van Barneveld and Phil Taylor written by new
team member Liam Newman.

Away from the World Championships we are also beginning to focus
on Q-School which is coming up in January and with the help of Krispy
Brown from Darts, Beers and Cheers we spoke to Tour Card hopeful
Scott Johnson.
Along with all of these great features we also have all of the usual news
from around the PDC and the BDO, with a detailed look at Michael van
Gerwen’s Players Championship triumph and James Wilson’s Zuiderduin
Masters victory along with all of the other news from the darts circuit.
