It has been one of the most exciting months in darts for a long time , with the Premier League playoff places being decided in the final two weeks and Michael van Gerwen sealing the title in a thrilling final . The night of course featured two equally thrilling semi-finals and both James Wade and Raymond van Barneveld can be proud of the contribution that they made to a top night of darts .
Michael Smith showed the value of experience as he beat Ricky Evans 6-1 in the World Youth Championship final and he will no doubt be looking to replicate van Gerwen ’ s success on the main tour .
At UK Darts we too have been busy , this month has seen us interviewing Deta Hedman and Steve Brown , as well as reporting direct from two nights of Premier League action , in Dublin and Liverpool .
Our correspondents have also been out and about providing the latest news from around the darts circuits and we have a full roundup of all of the darting action from across the PDC and BDO .
We have also been busy developing the magazine itself and this month will see an increased interactive element introduced . And with more updates and interactivity planned over coming months we are looking to be at the forefront of the darts media for years to come .
Finally we have been busy bringing you some great prizes , and this month ’ s magazine features not one but two competitions , with a set of Simon Whitlock darts and a UK Darts polo shirt both up for grabs .
