Kim has already reached a ‘Major’
final, 18 months ago he lost to Phil
Taylor in Minehead at the Players
Championship. “I have gone from
Mr Nobody to Mr Somebody but it
is only the start. I know I have to
work hard,” he said.
Ronny believes his brother can be
one of the best in the business.
“He can achieve whatever he
wants to in this sport but I tell
him that he is lazy and has to work
harder!”
Mr Lowy added: “We have the
greatest respect for these two
fine players and look forward to
developing their darts equipment
for them. I am quite sure that Kim
has learnt much from Ronny, such
an experienced mentor, and I have
no doubt that Kim can achieve his
goal of a place in the top 10 in the
world.”
They have played twice in big
TV events, Kim winning on both
occasions. First at last year’s
Grand Slam of Darts and then just
a month later at the 2014 World
Championship – a game both
described as the toughest they’ve
had to play. Kim won after Ronny
had missed darts for a two set
advantage.
But the pair have the pedigree,
the talent and the motivation.
It is a partnership that is sure to
deliver success.
