BDO British Internationals It was a very productive weekend for Team England in Halifax, as all four of their teams won their respective titles with some dominating darting displays over their Scottish and Welsh counterparts. with England coming out on top thanks to the efforts of player of the tournament Casey Gallagher and her trusty team-mate Danielle Ashton. The Scottish girls ensured that they didn’t come last when they beat Wales 2-0 on the Saturday morning. Team England didn’t lose a single tie all weekend, but that doesn’t mean that it was all one-way traffic, as there were some outstanding performances from players from the other two competing nations. In the boy’s competition, England’s Connor Levett was awarded player of the tournament thanks to wins over Jordan Forbes (Scotland) and Sam Weaver (Wales). 15 year-old Connor, who plays his county darts for Sussex, definitely has a bright future ahead of him.
