BDO Isle Of Man Open

Robbie Green threw some of the best darts ever seen on the
BDO circuit as he claimed the Isle Of Man Open title on Sunday
9th March.
The Lakeside semi-finalist twice averaged over 100 during the stage
finals, first of all in his semi-final and secondly as he produced an
incredible 114+ average to defeat newly crowned World Trophy
champion James Wilson 5-1 in a one-sided final.
Glen Durrant and Sam Head were the losing semi-finalist, whilst Scott
Waites, Martin Adams and Martin Philips all picked up good points for
reaching the quarter finals.
In the ladies competition Lorraine Winstanley defeated Sharon Prins
in the final to claim the £3000 first prize, whilst World Champion Lisa
Ashton and Paula Jacklin were the losing semi-finalists.
In the pair competitions there were victories for Scott Waites and Dee
Bateman in the mixed, whilst Martin Atkins and Allan Edwards claimed
the mens’ and Zoe Jones and Anneke Kuijten secured the ladies title.
