It has been another thrilling month in darts, the Premier League is in full swing and the debate about Phil Taylor’s dip in form rages ever onwards, with journalists and observers everywhere all offering their opinions as to why the greatest player of all time is unable to produce the kind of clinical match winning performances that we are used to seeing. Our own Premier League coverage, broken down week by week, touches on this too, as we ask can Phil Taylor make the Premier League playoffs or will he miss out for the first time since the tournament’s inception. We also take a more in depth look at Aden Kirk, the man who defeated Taylor in the UK Open and added fuel to the fire of the ‘great Taylor debate’, asking whether the youngster can now push on and break into the game’s elite ranks. Photo: PDC/Lawrence Lustig Along with all of this we review the UK Open in full, we cover the floor tournaments from the PDC and BDO and there is an interesting look at darts on the fringes of Europe as new writer Chris Johns gives us his guide to darts in Estonia. Finally we welcome you to the Cleveland Arms in Wolverhampton, taking a look at what makes their darts exhibitions so special and looking at the exhibitions in your area that are worth a visit. I must extend my thanks to Will Adamson, the manager at the Cleveland, for being so welcoming when I attended their exhibition featuring the excellent Ted Hankey and Wayne Mardle with MC ‘Little’ Richard Ashdown. So without further ado, enjoy this month’s magazine and look out for some great and exciting new features next month… Editor: Mike Glover Contributing Writers: Mike Glover @MikeGlover180 Jay Shaw @JayShaw180 Liam Newman @ThatLiam Newman Editorial: [email protected] Advertising: [email protected] Mike Love Darts ?
