The Verdict Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld had received some criticism as Sky Sport’s selections for the event, but both proved themselves more than worthy in their fourth matches of the tournament. Whilst you can make great arguments for the inclusion of James Wade or Andy Hamilton it is hard to criticise the selection based on the performances of all of the wildcards so far. Myself I am not quite so sure. Yes, he got a vital TV win under his belt and looked a lot better in doing so, but it is only one win and he still has a lot of work to do adjusting to his new darts before he can be considered back to full form.
