can probably feel slightly aggrieved that he was unable to claim a point
despite averaging over 103 and landing three maximums.
The Verdict
Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld had received some criticism
as Sky Sport’s selections for the event, but both proved themselves
more than worthy in their fourth matches of the tournament. Whilst
you can make great arguments for the inclusion of James Wade or Andy
Hamilton it is hard to criticise the selection based on the performances
of all of the wildcards so far.
Finally, I was wondering how long before the bubble burst on Peter
Wright, now it seems I may have been hasty in my conclusions as the
impressive, colourful Scotsman marches on, moving to the top of the
league after one of his best ever televised results.
After Week 4
Peter Wright

A lot of people were quick to announce the return of Phil Taylor after
his victory over Whitlock. Myself I am not quite so sure. Yes, he got a
vital TV win under his belt and looked a lot better in doing so, but it
is only one win and he still has a lot of work to do adjusting to his new
darts before he can be considered back to full form.
