Single original Cohiba Behikes up to £4,500
I popped into the Wellesley this week to share a cigar with
Giuseppe Ruo and to get the details of the two very special
cigars he had in the humidor of his hotel. You can read about
those two cigars in the “What’s in your humidor’ page. While I
was with him he also told me that the price of a single original
Cohiba Behike cigar has now risen to £4,500 each.
He explained that he believed that a large number of the people who come to his hotel to smoke the
cigars may well be collectors who have a humidor in their collection but don’t want to smoke one of
their own cigars for fear of devaluing the complete humidor. So, to taste one of these extraordinary
cigars they go to see him.
