Live fire cooking & authentic, hand-forged asado equipment

My love for South American style asados was ignited when I met my wife and lived in Ecuador. Their whole way of life is connected to sharing food with friends and family, cooking everything over fire from whole hogs to Guinea pigs!

Back here in the UK I just started to cook more and more outside. I love the simplicity of lighting a fire on the ground and cooking large pieces of meat with what is essentially just a metal spike!

I set up Country Fire Kitchen in 2016, taking the ‘metal spike’ that step further. Our forged asado cross offers functionality but also exudes rustic charm. We have gone on to develop a range of live fire cooking equipment, with lots more products coming online early in the New Year.

The masterclasses have proved popular, people love to have the opportunity to escape into a field, light fires, eat serious quantities or meat and drink beer. Who wouldn’t?!

We also provide function and event catering. Specialising in live fire cooking, the South American way. We incorporate fire into almost everything we do. With the large cuts of meat & whole animals the centrepiece, we also serve up a range of charred veg inspired salads and sides.
