October 2017

A WARM WELCOME TO UISG’S INAUGURAL NEWSLETTER!

A MESSAGE FROM OUR HEAD OF SCHOOL – DR. MICHAEL WYLIE

During September, our Secondary students traveled to a variety of destinations with in China. The camps involved cultural activities and action and adventure. It also enabled fellow students to develop friendships and get to know their teachers. In the coming weeks, many of our Primary students will be having camps. Our Year 6 students from UISG and UISZ are taking part in an extraordinary camp at the Prem Centre in Chang Mai. Experiential learning is an important aspect of student learning and we look forward to hearing all the exciting news from these trips.

This term, UISG will have a number of major school wide events which include our UISG Open Day on 9th November, UEF Family Day on 18th November and International Festival of Lights on 9th December.

Please mark the dates in your calendar and I look forward to seeing you there. I hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and following the many activities and programmes offered to our students.

Kind regards,

Dr. Michael Wylie
