Y1 "Where We are in Place and Time"

Year 1 enjoyed 'Old School Day', where students went back into the past to experience a school day from long ago. The children entered classrooms without lights or technology, boys and girls were seated separately, and the colours were stripped away. Activities included practicing our cursive, singing songs, and performing drills outside. It was a relief at the end of the day to return to our wonderful Year 1 classrooms where we are able to learn alongside all our friends in our bright, vibrant classrooms. What an experience 'Old School Day' was!
Y2 "Who We Are"
Making healthy choices is directly connected to good health and well-being. The year 2 students demonstrated this important idea when inquiring in "Who we are", during their overnight camp in the UISG library. Students took part in physical, social and mental well-being activities. They had healthy, balanced meals and reflected on the importance of making healthy choices. Well done Year 2's on being independent and balanced risk takers!
