UISG TEACHERS WIN THE GERMAN CHAMBER SOCCER TOURNAMENT
Ciao finished in 1st and 3rd place for the HS PRC and ACAMIS 5km cross country race. Emma captured 3rd place with an incredible sprint at the end. PRC cross country team also finished in 2nd place as a team.

UISG teachers competed in a 8 team soccer tournament in November. They went undefeated in the round robin and earned a spot in the championship game after a another victory in the semi finals. Both teams battled hard in the final and the tournament needed to be decided in a shootout. First up was the leading tournament goal scorer Mr. Andrei who calmly potted a beauty in the bottom left corner. Next up Mr. Taylor showed no fear by beating the goalie with an off speed gem. Mr. E, who was honoured as the best goalkeeper in the tournament, then took over the game with a highlight reel save and then scored the winning goal in the shootout to seal the victory for the UISG Teachers. Congrats to all those who participated and we look forward to defending our title next year.
