Staff Professional Development Workshops
Staff Professional Development Workshops focusing on “Mathematics in the PYP” and “Transdisciplinary Inquiry for Single Subject” were recently held for UISG Primary Staff. These were presented by external IB workshop leaders. Our Interns and Teaching Assistants also enjoyed empowering sessions which covered “The PYP at UISG”, “Behaviour Management in the Classroom” and “Learning Differences”. Collaborative teamwork is essential and Professional Learning Communities (PLC) drive our primary programme. Year Level groups meet weekly, Language and Specialists collaborate with Homeroom teachers and K-Y6 expert groups in Literacy, Maths, Science and Technology Integration ensure that standards and practices are aligned.
Parent Network Sessions
A sincere thank you to the mothers who attended the K Class Parenting Session led by Dr. Leila Sabet and Ms. Connie Chan. The next K and K1 Network session will be held on Tuesday, 17 November.
