Day 5 was really simple. We woke up, ate breakfast, went to the train station by bus, said goodbye to our Terratribes leaders and got on train to return to Guangzhou.

However, once settled on the train and writing about our final thoughts in our camp journals, we were informed by our teachers that the train we were supposed to be on was actually cancelled yesterday because of Typhoon "Haima" or "Seahorse" heading for Guangzhou.
Unknown to us, during our s'mores and camp fire the night before, the teachers and our guides were busy making alternative arrangements to get us home safe and sound. Our TA's Miss Michelle, Miss Lauren and the Terratribes leader Miss Kate travelled to the train station over an hour away to exchange our train tickets. They arrived back at camp after 2:00am!
