Year 5

In group threeY5G (with a made up name of garlic and onions) we headed off to our first independent activity: zip-lining and abseiling (not a typo it is spelled abseiling). First we had to climb a mountain that had a cave that made a perfect hole on the side that ran through the mountain. We climbed up onto the cave's highest point where Mr. Eapo told us that the cave was called Treasure Cave. Then we waited in line to be strapped on to all the safety equipment.

After we were strapped on, he let us down the zip line and we landed on a small rock barely big enough for us to stand on.

Then we went to a bigger rock and waited for our turn to rappel down the rock face on a 20 foot drop. Nobody thought it scary except Bilal (respectably) who was afraid of height.

A truly international education
