He mentioned research has shown that parents need to try introducing new foods at least ten times before the child will actually try it. A sectioned plate with foods in their own area is recommended. Presentation of the foods is also important. With danger in the home, choking, burns and poisoning are on the on top of the list. Here are some websites and links recommended for parents to review:

So many things have happened in the Early Years section lately. We have had two Parent Network sessions already with Dr. Macky Galvez, the pediatrician from United Family Clinic, who gave very good advice to our K and K1 parents about discipline in the home, sibling rivalry, finicky eaters and many more.
